German-born  Ursula  Gebert opened the  magical store  -  gypsy  baby  -  in  2019 on Gypsy Alley  off  of  Canyon Road  in  Downtown  Santa  Fe.  

Her  inspiration  for  the  store  was  Sloane  - one  of  her  delightful  granddaughters  who  is  pictured  in  the  photo on  this  page.  

Ursula found that she was having a hard time finding fine baby and toddler gifts to send to her granddaughter in Europe, while she spent time in Santa Fe at her vacation home.  

She soon developed a vision to open a boutique that would carry the finest toys and clothing for babies and toddlers. 

Quality toys to stimulate a child’a senses and spark creativity; as well as quality dress-up costumes for pretend play - among other special items.

After  attending trade shows in Paris and New York  City ,  Ursula  had  curated a unique selection of luxury brands for babies and children that she felt proud to offer in her charming store in Downtown Santa Fe.
